Accessibility & Inclusivity: How We Make Silent Disco Tours for Everyone

Silent Disco Walking Tours are all about joy, movement, and connection — and that means everyone should be able to join in the fun. Whether you’re dancing through the West End, exploring festive lights, or joining one of our drag-fuelled disco adventures, our goal is simple: to make sure every guest feels welcome, comfortable, and included.

Here’s how we make it happen.

Our Routes Are Wheelchair-Friendly

Every tour is carefully planned so that the routes are as accessible as possible for wheelchair users and those with limited mobility. We stick to pavements and crossings that are wide, smooth, and manageable, and we test our routes regularly to make sure they’re still suitable. If you use a wheelchair or mobility aid, we’ll always do our best to accommodate you and your needs.

We just ask that you let us know in advance when booking, so we can plan for any extra space or adjustments, especially as areas of the West End and Soho can get very busy. We want to keep you rolling right along with our crowd!

Fun for Families and Kids

Our tours aren’t just for grown-ups. We welcome children aged six and over on most tours, and they absolutely love it. The music, the movement, and the energy make it a brilliant shared experience for families.

Younger kids are welcome too, though they may prefer a buggy if they get tired, and some might not want to wear headphones the whole time (which is fine, they’ll still have a great view of the fun).

Parents often tell us that a Silent Disco Walking Tour is the first time they’ve seen their kids enjoy sightseeing without getting bored. That’s a win in our book!

Mobility Considerations

We keep our walking pace steady and relaxed. The aim isn’t to rush through London, it’s to experience it together; dancing, laughing, and soaking up the atmosphere.

If you have any mobility concerns, our team will help you feel at ease. There are stewards on hand throughout every tour, ready to support, guide, or adapt where needed.

Need to stop for a moment? No problem. Our groups move as one, and no one’s left behind.

Hearing and Sensory Needs

Our wireless headphones are adjustable, comfortable, and designed to give you clear, high-quality sound at your own preferred volume. If you’re sensitive to sound, you can easily turn the volume down or take a short break when needed.

We’re also happy to brief guests on what to expect before the tour begins — so nothing feels overwhelming or confusing once the music starts.

If you have a hearing aid or cochlear implant, you can wear our headsets over or around them, depending on your device. We’ve tested different models and can help you find the most comfortable fit.

Inclusivity Means Everyone’s Invited

Our guides and stewards are more than just energetic hosts, they’re trained to ensure every participant feels comfortable and included. If you ever have questions or specific needs, just tell us. We’d much
rather know in advance so we can make your experience smooth from start to finish.

We welcome people from all backgrounds, ages, and abilities to join our tours. Whether you’re coming solo, with friends, with your family, or as part of a group, we want you to feel part of the moment.

Our ethos is simple: music connects people. That’s what makes Silent Disco Walking Tours so special, it’s shared joy, accessible to everyone.

So, whether you roll, walk, dance, sing, or groove your own way, there’s a place for you in our Silent Tours family.
